Ross Geller is one of the most famous characters on the classic sitcom Friends. His on-and-off romance with Rachel Greene has been a staple of the show for nearly a decade.

Although he is often whiny and defensive, there are times when his quirky personality shines through. We take a look at a few of our favourite scenes with him.

He is a palaeontologist

One of the most memorable characters from the hit show Friends was Ross Geller, portrayed by actor David Schwimmer. He was a paleontologist and he was very passionate about his job.

As a palaeontologist, Ross is responsible for studying and cataloguing fossils. He also educates people about the different kinds of dinosaurs.

During his career, he has worked at several schools. He currently teaches at New York University.

The salary for a palaeontologist varies depending on the employer. However, most palaeontologists make an average of $110,000 per year.

In addition to teaching, Ross also enjoys working at the museum. He is passionate about his work and he loves to teach others about the different types of dinosaurs.

When he lectures his friends about science, he often makes them laugh. Nevertheless, he could be a bit boring at times.

He is married to Rachel Greene

Rachel Greene is a fashion-conscious friend of Monica Geller and her sister Chandler. She grew up with her family in New York City and went to a prestigious private school, which helped to give her a burgeoning career in the fashion industry.

Ross has had a strong crush on Rachel since they were children, and they became romantically involved in the early 1990s. They first date for a year before breaking up on their first anniversary, though they later become friends again.

When they were married, Ross slept with another woman on the night they decided their relationship was “on a break,” which eventually led to a divorce and the birth of Emma. In the series finale, they get back together.

A very caring father, who puts his children first. Has a strong bond with both his son, Ben, with his ex-wife Carol and his daughter, Emma, with Rachel. He is very protective of his children and will often be seen holding them when they are sick.

He is a professor

Ross is a professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at New York University. He was first hired as a visiting instructor, but he quickly gained tenure.

An ISTJ personality type and values security and honesty. He is very careful to analyze the facts before making decisions.

Aside from his academic career, Ross is also an avid rock climber and sports enthusiast. He also enjoys dancing.

However, he is often clumsy and socially awkward. He is a very dry and sarcastic sense of humour, second only to Chandler.

As a result, Ross is sometimes criticized for his lack of social skills. He is also a liar, and he lies to Rachel about several things, including her one-night stand with Chloe the copy girl.

Also a former martial artist and still practices karate, pronouncing it “ka-raa-tay” as he does in the series. He mocks the self-defence class that Rachel and Phoebe attend and surprises them with his martial arts skills.

He is a father

Ross is a father to Ben Geller (David Schwimmer) and Emma Greene (Julianne Huffman). He is a family man who cares about his children.

He and his sister Monica have very competitive personalities, which is often seen throughout the show. They often play a touch football game in which they yell at each other and even kick each other’s asses.

In addition to being a father, Ross is also a professor at New York University. He is a very intelligent person who is diplomatic and measured in his approach to situations.

He also has a very goofy and lovable personality. Despite his flaws, Ross is a very good father and always puts the best interests of his children before anything else. He is also very caring towards his daughter Emma and tries his best to make her happy.
